Naming your character is based off of a number of things. When your character is named as a kit, it can be named after a number of things, whether it be a parent's likes, the kit's appearance (not eye color), or a specific trait that accompanies a cat. (For instance, a cat with long lanky legs and that is black may be named Spider)

If you have a cat that is joining a clan, whether it be apprentice or warrior; the cat's name could very well be based on personality, appearance, color, feature, or eye color. It is only more plausible because of the fact that their eyes will most likely be open and would then be qualified as a feature of the character.

When it comes to the second part of the name; it can be chosen depending on personality; another feature, or physical force around them. If you are unsure as to what to call it; you can private message the admin or put your request to the name generator and the staff member in charge of it will be sure to get you a name.

Usually; when you are making the cat' the fist part is usually a precursor to what your character is like physically while the second is either a distinctive characteristic which is amplified by the first or it is something which describes your character by their personality. For example, if we have Spiderpaw; a long-legged, lanky black tom who is needing a warrior we could either look at another characteristic of his appearance to be amplified by the first part or part of his first part.

Let's say Spiderpaw is a crabby and short tempered apprentice. He has a sharp bite and a worse personality. Logical answers could be gaze, glare, fang, or venom among others from it. If these are some of the choices, his name could end up being Spidergaze, Spiderglare, Spiderfang, or Spidervenom. From there; it is your decision as to how you want to do it.
