HAREFLIGHT
Name: Hareflight

Position: Deputy
Appearance: This cat isn't the biggest tom out there, he's actually more in the size range of a female. From a distance you would even think that he is by his lithe and slim appearance. However, he is just as much a tom as any other. Despite Hareflight's slim body his hind legs are well-muscled, they are even like a rabbit or hare's and are strong and raised higher than his forelegs. This allows him to run very quickly, you could even say that he is one of the fastest (if not the fastest) cats in WindClan. He is also able to deliver a powerful kick if he needs to. Also like a rabbit or hare he has a short bob-tail that whenever he is angered wags furiously. He also has a tendency to walk with a twist when just strolling along, it's not that he does it on purpose it just comes naturally since his hind legs are so large. When trying to walk a normal speed to keep up with others he tends to do the rabbit-walk which is, walking with his front legs but hopping with his hind ones.
Hareflight's slim frame is covered mostly by snow-white fur. Only on a small proportion of his body has light brown patches. His large eyes are copper colored and along with his large ears make him look like a young apprentice about the face.
Personality:
Determined
Once this tenacious tom has started after a task there is hardly anyone or anything that will hold him back from completing it. Some would say this is pure stubbornness but Hareflight doesn't throw away the advice of others like a bull-headed cat would. Quite the contrary, he absorbs advice (if it's meant to be constructive or helpful) and will do his best to incorporate it into his plans as any good leader would do.
Calm
To say the least, Hareflight behaves nothing like what most cats think that toms should behave. He is mostly always calm and even in the most dire situations he hardly ever resorts to violence. While this can help from getting into most fights it also means that he will hardly want to fight when the need calls for it. Sure, there are wars and battles that need to be fought but there are measures that can be taken to help avoid confrontation.
Compassionate
Hareflight has a large heart and would go out of his way to help someone else. He has even been known to want to take in stray kits and would most likely care for a loner down on his luck if he could. Some would say his compassion is a weakness as an evil cat could play on his kindness to take advantage of him...
Feminine
This tom does not radiate that masculine energy that most others do... Instead he seems to give off the same vibe that most she-cats do. It's simply the way he is and just because he doesn't behave like a normal tom doesn't make him homosexual. He actual is straight but has went without a mate due to the fact that most she-cats believe he likes toms... Who wouldn't since he enjoys rolling in flowers and gossiping like a she-cat would?
History:
Harekit
Harekit's parents were two well-known warriors in the clan. His mother, Swiftbreeze had a bit of kittypet blood in her but no one believed that that would make a difference for her kits. Everyone was shocked though as one of her three kits came with strange rabbit-like hind legs. Swiftbreeze's mate Rainclaw thought that his only son would be useless and thus he devoted all of his time to his two daughters, Dapplekit and Palekit. Swiftbreeze however saw potential in her son and worked hard to help him. Being born with his strange hind legs meant that he had a difficult time walking... Such a difficult time that he was delayed on becoming an apprentice.
Harekit thought he would never become an apprentice but his mother never gave up on him and the other queens in the nursery pitched in to help him walk as well. The extra time that he spent in the nursery affected how he would normally behave as a tom, he started acting more and more like a she-cat would... Distancing him more and more from his father.
Harepaw
When Harepaw finally was able to walk the leader allowed him to become an apprentice. The tom was behind in his training and this made him want to work extra hard for his warrior name. His mentor, Lightclaw, had his doubts in the apprentice at first but soon he was amazed by the tom's skills. The long hind legs that had cursed him for the beginning of his life now aided him with training... When running after prey hardly anything could escape him since his rear legs made him very fast. When fighting his legs came in handy for kicking... He could give quite a nasty kick when provoked as his battle-partners soon found out.
Hareflight
When Hareflight received his warrior name it was the proudest moment in his life. Swiftbreeze and his siblings Dappleflower and Palestripe were all proud, the same could not be said for Rainclaw as he was still unhappy with his strange son. Hareflight could careless though as he himself knew that his accomplishment was a good one.
Moons started to go by as Hareflight did his duties as a warrior, he even received his own apprentice. However, the real highlight of his life came when he was on a patrol with the deputy. During the patrol a group of foxes came and tried to ambush the two cats. The deputy would surely have died if not for Hareflight striking out at the foxes to draw their attention from him. Not wasting any time the tomcat fled to keep the foxes away from the deputy... Hareflight led them far away off of WindClan territory into neutral lands before he threw them off his trail and headed back to the camp. He was deemed a hero and when the previous leader died and the same deputy who's life he had saved assumed position as leader, he was made the deputy.
Other: He enjoys rolling in flowers to make his pelt smell nice... and no... he is not gay XD
