skyWISH
[/i] "About?"Name: Skywish
Gender: Female
Clan: Thunder
Position: Warrioress
Appearance:
Skywish is a strikingly beautiful feline. Her fur is short, but thick. It's color is blue-grey, leaning more toward blue than gray. She has no scars on her body, except on the inside. Her eyes are a beautiful blue. They have many different shades of blue inside them, making them look different when she simply tilts her head a different way. She is not tall, but her attitude makes her seem taller than she really is. She is short, but muscular. Her claws are almost always sheathed, and have never torn into the flesh of something living.
Personality:
Skywish is a feline of elegance. She carries herself with the utmost respect for her body and herself. She is a dreamer in essence. She dreams of peace, of life with no fighting. She dreams of kits, and a family, and friends. She is alone in crowd, but she doesn't mind. She doesn't like words, and hardly ever uses them. She is content with just sitting and watching and listening and taking in information about her companion. Skywish is full of wishes, hopes, and dreams. She never prays though. She doesn't like the idea of having her life in the hands of those who have died. She would much rather believe that she is a ruler of her own life. She is very independent, almost to a fault. She almost never asks for help. Even if she does, she would never ask a tom unless it was absolutely necessary. She would much rather die than be helped by a tom. She is capable of taking care of herself, though she may not seem like it. She loathes fighting and hunting, and only learned it as an apprentice because she was made to. She believes herself to be higher than battle moves. She believes she can work things out by words or by walking away until the other has calmed down. Or, if necessary, running away. She would much rather do any of the listed than fight. She enjoys climbing tress. She likes to pretend that she can fly with the wind. She, of course, knows she can't. She would never jump, but dreams of the day she can jump and not fall. She is slow to be angered, and slow to lash out. She is cautious, and is very careful with her words. She knows that once something is in the air, you cannot take it back.
History:
Kit life--
Skywish was born to a mother, and only a mother. She had a brother, Blackkit, and a sister, Poppykit. Her father was deadbeat dad who apparently had better things to do. (He was a loner, but she doesn't know this.) Her mother, wanting to forget the past, refused to talk on the subject. Her mother was a strong she-cat, and Skywish aspired to be just like her. Her brother was a teasing brat and her sister was a naive, innocent, typical she-cat. Blackkit was, of course, mostly black, while Poppykit and Skywish looked almost exactly alike. Blackkit would tease Poppykit the most, for she was not exactly the prettiest feline. He almost never teased Skywish, for she hardly ever responded to him. Poppykit, however, would get mad and angry. It was only a matter of time, Skywish saw, that Poppykit would show Blackkit exactly where he belonged.
Apprentice life--
When the trio became apprentices, their mother left. "You have no need of me, my darlings. I will go and find your father. I love him, and I know he loves me. If he is alive, he will come to me, and then we will come to you. You have your mentors and den mates to take care of you, my dears. Goodbye." Blackpaw was so mad he kicked dirt and spat while Poppypaw and Skywish cried. He teased them about being overly sensitive, but Poppypaw was distraught she didn't reply. Skywish only learned battle moves to be able to defend herself. Her mentor said if she tried she would be excellent at fighting, but she had no wish to be excellent in something that could take the life of another. She only learned hunting because she had to in order to become a warrior. She took no joy or pride in killing innocent animals. Though she had no problem eating them. One day, while exploring about, she met a young tom apprentice named Flowpaw. Flowpaw was a silver tabby tom. His black stripes mimicked the flow of water, hence the name. He was kind to her when most were not, and understood her feelings of having no need for words. They clicked, but Skywish refused to believe that she could ever love. Soon, she found herself daydreaming of their future together, and she could never get her mind off of him. But she was not naive. She knew every female apprentice in the camp wanted to be his. And he didn't mind leading them on. She started staying away from him, avoiding him every time she could. However, she couldn't help but to be near him when they were assigned to be on a patrol together. He caught her afterward and pulled her deep into the woods."Be mine, Skypaw."He made it sound like a request, and she would not be requested to do anything. "You're just upset because I hate you." She turned to leave, but he dashed to block her way."I don't think you heard me. You. Will. Be. Mine."He stepped closer to her, but she backed away several steps. "And I don't think YOU heard ME. I will NOT be your mate, or girl on the side, or whatever it is you wish to be. You are NOTHING to me. You once were, but I was foolish to believe it. Maybe you'll take this to heart. Stop being such a jerk, and then maybe, just maybe, you'll have a chance in this life." She spat in his face and ran away, felling proud that she conquered her fears. She was upset to hear that he never came back to camp that night, but she wasn't overly distraught over the news.
Warrior life--
Just before the trio became warriors, Blackpaw found Poppypaw gone from the den. She was no where to be found, anywhere, and Blackpaw was upset over it all. He had finally teased her into shame, and she felt she had no option left. She opted to run away instead of fight, which Skywish found interesting. Blackpaw was upset over it, knowing he was the reason for her departure, but he would not say a thing about it. Blackpaw became Blackspirit, and Skywish became... well... Skywish. One day, she found him laying down by the river, staring into his reflection. He seemed deep in thought, so she turned to leave, but he told her to lay down next to him. So she did."Won't you ask what I'm doing here, sister?""What are you doing here?""Thinking."
